2. Our services and scope

Core Strength Equipment is a Yorkshire-based fitness equipment supplier and community hub. We support customers across East Yorkshire, the Hull area, wider Yorkshire, and the UK with the supply of gym equipment and related products, including (depending on availability and suitability):

• Strength equipment: racks, benches, barbells, weight plates, dumbbells, machines and storage.
• Functional training solutions: rigs, attachments, and performance accessories.
• Gym flooring: rubber tiles, rolls, and impact areas for commercial gyms and premium home gyms.
• Commercial fit-out support: guidance on equipment selection, layout considerations, and delivery and installation coordination where offered.

Information on the Site is provided to help you understand the types of products and services available. Product specifications, finishes, and availability can vary. We may recommend options based on your stated goals, space, and budget, but the final selection and suitability remain your responsibility.

Any training, performance, or equipment advice is general guidance only. It is not medical advice, and it does not replace professional assessment or on-site risk evaluation. If you require formal safety assessments, structural calculations, or building compliance advice, you should engage the appropriate qualified professionals.

3. User obligations

You agree to use the Site lawfully and responsibly. When you submit an enquiry or request a quote, you agree to provide accurate, current information and not to misrepresent your identity, address, or intended use.

You are responsible for ensuring that your premises are suitable for delivery and installation, including access routes, floor loading, ceiling height, and any permissions required (for example, landlord consent or building management approval). For home gym setup projects in East Yorkshire or elsewhere, you are responsible for checking that your intended equipment is appropriate for your space and household environment.

4. Intellectual property

All content on the Site, including text, layout, images, graphics, logos, icons, and code, is owned by or licensed to Core Strength Equipment and is protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Site for your personal or internal business purposes.

You may not copy, reproduce, publish, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, or exploit any Site content without our prior written permission, except as permitted by law.

5. Prohibited activities

You agree not to:

• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose, including fraud or misrepresentation.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, server, or any related systems.
• Scrape, crawl, harvest, or collect content or data from the Site using automated methods without permission.

6. Quotes, orders, and product information

Any quote we provide is based on the information available at the time and the details you supply (such as measurements, desired equipment, delivery address, and access restrictions). Quotes may include assumptions. If those assumptions change, your final price and lead time may change.

Quotes are typically valid for a limited period as stock availability, shipping costs, and manufacturer pricing can change. Where a validity period is not stated, you should treat the quote as indicative only and confirm before ordering.

Product images shown on the Site are illustrative. Colours, textures, and finishes can appear different depending on lighting and screen settings. For gym flooring, batch and fleck variations are normal within manufacturing tolerances. If you are planning commercial gym flooring in Yorkshire or elsewhere, we recommend confirming your preferred finish and confirming whether matching across future expansions is important.

Unless expressly stated in writing, site content does not constitute a binding offer. A contract is formed only when we confirm acceptance of an order in writing (for example, by issuing an order confirmation or invoice that states acceptance).

Where we provide layout guidance as part of commercial fit-out discussions, it is provided for planning convenience. Final layout decisions, compliance (including fire routes, disabled access where applicable, and safe spacing), and operational risk controls are the customer’s responsibility.

7. Delivery, access, and installation support

Delivery dates are estimates unless we confirm otherwise in writing. We will take reasonable steps to meet agreed timeframes, but delays can occur due to courier capacity, manufacturer schedules, weather, supply chain events, or access issues at the delivery location.

You are responsible for ensuring safe and suitable access for delivery, including parking, unloading space, and any required permits. If delivery fails due to access restrictions or incorrect information, additional charges may apply.

Where we coordinate installation support, you agree to provide safe working conditions and to ensure that the installation area is clear and ready. For flooring installs, subfloor condition is critical. If subfloor preparation is incomplete or unsuitable, installation may need to be rescheduled, potentially incurring additional costs.

Risk transfers and title may vary depending on the nature of the transaction and whether delivery is arranged by us or collected by you. We will confirm the applicable details in your order documentation.

8. Disclaimers of warranties

The Site and our services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While we aim to keep information accurate and up to date, we do not warrant that the Site will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. This does not affect any rights you may have that cannot be excluded under UK law, including statutory consumer rights where applicable.

Any statements about durability, performance, or suitability of equipment are based on typical use cases and manufacturer information. Actual results depend on usage, maintenance, environmental conditions, installation, and adherence to safety guidelines.

9. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.

Subject to the paragraph above, to the maximum extent permitted by law, Core Strength Equipment will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of business, loss of goodwill, loss of data, or business interruption, arising out of or relating to your use of the Site, your enquiries, quotes, or any goods or services supplied.

Subject to the paragraph above, our total liability to you for direct losses arising from or relating to these Terms, the Site, or any goods or services will be limited to the amount you paid to us in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or €100 (one hundred euros), whichever is lower.

You are responsible for ensuring the safe use and correct installation of equipment in your premises. This includes appropriate supervision, member induction where relevant, ongoing maintenance, and compliance with relevant health and safety practices.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Core Strength Equipment from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or related to:

• Your breach of these Terms.
• Your misuse of the Site.
• Your violation of any law or regulation.
• Your infringement of any third-party rights.
• Your negligent or improper installation, maintenance, or use of equipment supplied.

11. Third-party links

The Site may reference third-party products, manufacturers, or services. We are not responsible for the content, availability, or practices of external websites or third-party services. Any links are provided for convenience and do not constitute endorsement unless explicitly stated.

12. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal data, including data submitted through our enquiry forms and data collected through cookies and analytics. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

If you submit an enquiry on behalf of someone else (for example, a colleague), you confirm you have permission to provide their details and to receive communications about the enquiry.

13. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms and any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

You and Core Strength Equipment agree that the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms. For administrative convenience, and without limiting the clause above, we generally handle legal notices and correspondence from our base in East Yorkshire.

Before starting court proceedings, you agree to contact us and allow a 30-day period for informal resolution. Many issues can be resolved quickly by clarifying specifications, access constraints, or delivery arrangements.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site or our services, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, misused the Site, or acted in a way that could cause harm to us, our customers, or third parties.

The following sections will survive termination: Intellectual property, Prohibited activities, Disclaimers, Limitation of liability, Indemnification, Governing law and dispute resolution, and any other provisions that by their nature should survive.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or operational practices. Changes take effect 14 days after we post the updated Terms on this page, unless a change is required by law to take effect sooner.

Your continued use of the Site after the effective date of changes indicates acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you should stop using the Site and contact us if you have an outstanding enquiry.
